Bhutan Tour Packages from Mumbai: Complete Planning Guide (2026)

Bhutan — the last Himalayan kingdom — is one of the most rewarding trips a Mumbai traveller can take: monasteries clinging to cliffs, prayer-flag valleys and a genuinely unhurried pace. TripTrix Voyages arranges the complete Bhutan ground experience for Mumbai guests and agents at net rates.

How to reach Bhutan from Mumbai

There are two routes: fly Mumbai–Paro (via a hub) for the quickest entry, or fly Mumbai–Bagdogra and drive to the Phuentsholing land border. We advise which suits your dates and budget, and manage permits either way.

The classic circuit

Most Mumbai travellers do the 5–7 night Paro–Thimphu–Punakha loop, crowned by the hike to the Tiger's Nest (Taktsang) monastery. Add Phobjikha for cranes and quiet valleys if you have extra nights.

Permits & best time

Indian nationals need an entry permit (which we process) and Bhutan's Sustainable Development Fee applies. October–December and March–May give the clearest skies; we plan around Mumbai school holidays for family departures.

  • Enter via Paro (air) or Phuentsholing (land)
  • 5–7 nights for the classic circuit
  • We process all Bhutan permits
  • Agents: net rates on request

Share your dates and we'll design a Mumbai-to-Bhutan itinerary with net rates on request.
