4-Day Sikkim Itinerary: Gangtok, Tsomgo & Beyond

This 4-day sikkim itinerary is designed to be well-paced and realistic, with sensible drive times built in. Indian nationals need inner-line permits for protected areas such as Tsomgo, Nathula and North Sikkim, which we arrange.

Day-by-day plan

Day 1: Arrive Bagdogra/NJP and drive to Gangtok; evening at MG Marg.

Day 2: Full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir and (permit allowing) Nathula Pass.

Day 3: Gangtok sightseeing — Rumtek Monastery, Ganesh Tok, Tashi View Point and the ropeway.

Day 4: Drive back to Bagdogra/NJP for your onward journey.

Good to know

  • Gateway: Bagdogra Airport (about 4–5 hours by road to Gangtok)
  • Best time: March to May for rhododendrons and clear skies, October to mid-December for the crispest Kanchenjunga views, and December to March for snow around Tsomgo and North Sikkim.
  • Itinerary is flexible — we adjust the pace and stays to suit your clients

TripTrix Voyages runs Sikkim year-round with permits handled and hand-picked stays — agents can request net rates for any Sikkim itinerary.
