Day-by-day plan
Day 1: Arrive, transfer to Gangtok.
Day 2: Tsomgo Lake and Nathula Pass.
Day 3-4: North Sikkim — Lachung and Yumthang.
Day 5: Drive to Pelling.
Day 6: Pelling monasteries and Kanchenjunga views; drive to Darjeeling.
Day 7: Tiger Hill sunrise, toy train, tea estates.
Day 8: Depart via Bagdogra/NJP.
Good to know
- Gateway: Bagdogra Airport (about 4–5 hours by road to Gangtok)
- Best time: March to May for rhododendrons and clear skies, October to mid-December for the crispest Kanchenjunga views, and December to March for snow around Tsomgo and North Sikkim.
