Transfer from NJP to the trailhead village of Yuksom.
Yuksom to Sachen
Forest trail along the Rathong river.
Sachen to Tshoka
Climb through rhododendron forest to Tshoka.
Tshoka to Dzongri
Ascend to the alpine meadows of Dzongri.
Dzongri Top & acclimatise
Sunrise from Dzongri Top; rest and acclimatise.
Dzongri to Thansing
Descend and traverse to Thansing.
Goecha La viewpoint
Pre-dawn push to View Point 1 beneath Kanchenjunga; return.
Thansing to Tshoka
Long descent back through the forest.
Tshoka to Yuksom
Final descent to the trailhead.
Departure
Transfer to Bagdogra/NJP.
